akai deck question
Ive got a akai x-150d. Now i realize this isnt a good deck, but its all ive got right now. the problem im having is with recording. its got the cross-field thing, whatever that means... my questions is - is it even possible to record a track while listening to another previously recorded track? it can record 4 tracks supposedly, and i know 2 are with the tape going the other direction right? either way, i record something, and cant hear it when recording on any other track. is this the way its supposed to be? is something not working correctly?
