Stuck between to MIDI interfaces from M-Audio

Im stuck between these two midi controllers from M-AUDIO

the first is the M-Audio Trigger Finger:

and the M-Audio M-Audio Keystation 49e USB MIDI Controller Keyboard:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ers?sku=703605

First, I dont know really know whats the difference between the two

Second, I want to know what each midi controller would control within reason 3.0

At first, I thought that the trigger finger would mostly control things like the REDRUM computer. And that the Keystation 49e would control the Key Lane in the sequencer.

Well im very confused right now.

PLZ HELP ME!

What would you like to do with it? Obviously, one interface is more geared towards controlling a drum machine, the other towards writing melodies - but in Reason you can set your paramaters so any key/pad/knob can control any function. Personally, I would go for the keyboard because you can use the keys to control drums and it's harder to use the drum pads you control a melodic keyboard, but if you primarily want to do drums anyway, than the drum pad surface is going to be a better choice.

Why dont u just get the akai MPD? Its only 99.00 so u can get the keyboard and the pads for the price of the trigger finger.

Akai pads are the best (IMHO) and if you ever used a MPC then you know what im talking about

Either controller will control whatever u want in reason. The pads are most useful for the drums but u can also trigger samples or whatever. Keyboard is well, a keyboard

For a bit more, you can have the all in one:

This is the new one and has pads faders knobs galore
