24 channel mixer...like new
O.K.
I have a 24 channel mixer that I'm thinking about letting go. It's like new...always been in the studio with plastic over it when not in use. It's a Legion Sound LSM-24 model, as such, it's not a boutique product; however, the 16 preamps are very clean and noise-free. All channels (actually 20 of them - 4 of them stereo) have a very nice EQ (sweepable mid-freq), trim control for the XLR's, 1/4 inch insert and input jacks (in addition to the 16 XLR inputs with silver contacts), 2 subgroups, 2 aux sends and returns (stereo, should you need it), PFL control on each channel with a separate PFL volume control. Each channel has pushbuttons for putting it into the main mix, PFL mix, subgroup mix, etc. Low cut (75hz) buttons are available for each mono channel as well to include a nice pan pot as well. The board will also supply phantom power (48v) and has L/R leds for watching levels. All items on this board work 100 percent - no scratchy pots or bent faders...nothing. I baby all my gear, and this board is no different. I have all the original packaging - the power supply is the original one (working great btw). The signal to noise ratio on this board is incredible - very quiet and clean. Like I said earlier, the preamps are exceptionally transparent and noise-free...even with outboard equipment inserted into the chain. This board is incredibly thin and light It looks like a friend is going to let me have his Allen & Heath - thus the reason for my putting this up. I've not completely decided to sell it - as a result, I'm firm on my price. Speaking of price - I'd like $260 for it plus shipping (actual shipping and insurance - I live at zip 98277). As I mentioned above - this board is exactly as new...not a mark on it that wasn't there when I took it out of the box. Got any pictures? I might be interested in this. I don't know yet. I gotta do a little research since I've never heard of this board before.

O.K.
It's official - I'm getting the Allen and Heath board. So...I'm willing to accept reasonable offers. This is a very nice, clean board in mint condition. It works very well both for recording and live. I live at zip 98277 if you want to look at shipping rates for approx. 15 lbs. total. Jay |

It's been a year...
And two sales have additionally fallen through.
Price drop to $225 plus actual shipping....expect shipping to be no more than $25 dollars - probably less. It's all boxed up, in perfect shape, with the manual...ready to go. Would love to get this sold as it's a great deal for less than $10 a channel. Jay |

Sorry...
Saturday nights are always late shows - which roll into Sunday mornings at church...so I'm always gone for 24 hours during that time.
Both PM's returned. Jay |

Still available - some local interest...and lots of tire kickin'
No sale yet....I can go to $238 shipped and insured in the lower 48. That's less than 10$ shipped a channel for a full featured mixer in mint condition. Jay |

Is this thing still up for sale, the original post was from March of '06. Does it come with the box and manual? How old is it? I need a new board for my studio, are the pre's studio quality? Nothing showed up on Google...

Amped....
Yes,
This is still available....yes, it is in the original box with the manual and in like new condition. Pres are very clean and pristine....however, this is not an Allen and Heath board....$238 for 24 channels (16 mono/4 stereo) is representative of that fact. It always sounded great for me (even using the 1/4" patch inputs direct out to the Firepod was clean and noisefree), and the fact that it is a slimline board that is very light/portable yet with plenty of channels was the seller for me. I would still be using it were it not for the great deal a friend gave me on his A&H MixWizard board. Hope that helps... Jay |
