qs8 aftertouch - Home Recording

Is anyone having trouble with the aftertouch on the QS8?
It doesn't seem to work on several piano sounds i.e.
(Zen Piano G4,A4). If I use the TRANSPOSE (change keys) it
stays relative to the notes not the actual keys. This tells
me that it may be a programing error rather than mechanical one.
