dragonworks has a reputation beyond repute

I have connected the light pipe from my QS8 to my ADAT. The
adat will record on channels 1 and 2 but I cant control the volume. The qs8 manual states that the volume slider controls all analog and digital signals out. Channel 1 on the adat is way overdriven and channel 2 sits about halfway,
it doesnt matter how loud I have the qs8 set, the adat stays
the same even with the slider turned all the way down. Any
body know the answer to this?
