I have the same problem as everyone else seems to so I can not image why it is not spelled out in the help sections of the manufactures lit.
I connect the firepod to the LE but it will only see 2 channels. I try to follow the examples listed but they always list drop downs that do not exist or "click on the ...." that does not exist. can anyone tell me 1 how to open all 8 channels and 2 where I could have found that in the documentation? What role does the sound card play in a setup with a firepod and CUbase LE? are the audio singles sent via firewire or does the soundcard get involved. Currently I have my sound card audio out doing to a mixer that is not invovled with the firepod at all. is this problem? Do I need to upgrade the sound card to get 8 inputs or will the standard windows card dell ships with be ok? Does LE even support 8 channnels - I am very frustrated with the included documentation !!! |

Not sure why people are having these problems. I have tw pods and I recognize all 16 inputs. In LE are you activating 3-8? By default it will only activate the first 2. If they are not blue, they are not activated.

Also, I agree, the documentation absolutely sucks for LE! I beleive you have to go to devices/VST devices and then make sure that all 8 are blue. You may onle see 2 right away, go to the lower coner and make the window larger and you should see the others.

Depends on the version of LE
What version of LE are you using. 1.08 won't do the 8 simultaneous inputs. That could be your problem

Thanks all. I figured it out but I could not say how. I never say anything blue or red though?
