Cool song - and nice job. Can I make a suggestion? There's a strong accent on 1 throughout the song that keeps it from swinging more (I think it's the kick drum). This results in kind of a Marching band feel because the drummer is also using the hi-hat strongly on 2 (as he should for this feel). Have the drummer use 1 more sparingly, I think you'll be pleased with the result.

errrr, Am I the only jazz musician offended by that?

Well It is original, and pretty well done for that. I would guess its really not swinging cause the midi won't really allow for that, thats really a human only thing. I do like the free section a lot though. Very pentatonic Well done.
