Cubase SX3 and keeping my old Cubase VST 5 ???
I started out using Cubase VST 5...then upgraded several years ago to Cubase SX2,3. I have been told by people who might not know what they are saying that If for some reason I need to reinstall Cubase SX3 I will need the old program and the old doogle to accomplish a reinstall.
I have been thinking about selling the old VST 5 and 5 printed books some 698 pages telling how to use the old software. Would this be a mistake if the above is true that you need VST5 and the old doogle to reinstall Cubase SX3. I never use the old.........version the new is right up with the times. Choctaw..........

I would say keep it since SX will not slave to external sync

Keep it- if for nothing else, than keep it for the plug ins that were excluded from SX3. Cheers, Rez
