Help with Cubase please, I'm a total newbie
Hi there,
I got Cubase VST/32 today, and I'm totally lost. I connected my keyboard (Casio CTK-711EX) to the computer, and I can play notes through the computer and record what I'm playing, but it's only the default Grand Piano tone, no matter what tone I change it to. Is there a beginner's guide to Cubase online or anything like that I could look at? I'm a complete newbie to using MIDI input and Cubase. Thanks for your time, sorry if I'm not too clear. Ask and I'll try to explain in more detail ![]() -Gary McEnroe |

U dont change the tone from the keyboard itself. you have to map the keyboard/midi controller to a midi track on cubase. and that midi track should have a VST inserted into it so u can play the vst(drums, guitar etc.) via ur keyboard. read the manuals..u will get it.
