MIDI Use with TD6

Hi All

I am a relativly new user, and have been attempting to recording signals from Rolands V-Drums (the TD6 module) in audio and MIDI fromat into Cubase sx 2.

The problem that I seem to be having is that when my drummer plays and activates the Hi hat pedal, this seem (I suppose by MIDI Signal) to activate cubase's mute buttons, resulting in a rather strange audio take.

Has anybody experianced this, and does anybody have any suggestions to correct

thanx

Have a look at the MIDI filtering options. Sounds like the V-drums is generating some weird SYSEx message. Try filtering SYSEx data before recording.

Don't forget that once recorded in, the mutes will be there until you delete them.
