panning trouble with cubase LE
Hi there,
Im pretty new to home recording and have recently purchased an Alesis firewire multimix 16 channel mixer. I am using Cubase LE to get started as this was bundled with the mixer. The problem I am having is during playback as I cannot pan the signal using the pan control in Cubase. If I record a single channel in mono the pan control does not channel the signal to the left or to the right as desired, but instead remains in both speakers. Can anyone tell me where Im going wrong? ghost. |

Check the bus out to speaker? Have you tried monitoring with headphone?

Mono in's are going to go right in the middle until you pan them. I may have misunderstood your post though. If I didn't, just move your pan on your track where you want it.
