I just picked up some rack stuff, which runs off an ART PS 4x4 power strip. The ART power cord only has a 2 prong end on it, and I figured the prev owner had, for some reason, just cut off the ground prong. But, upon closer inspection, it looks like it came that way.
Doesn't seem right, not having the ground. Does anyone have one of these, and know if it is that way new. Seems like it ought to have the safety ground... ??? There does seem to be more noise when I go through the ART then just a power strip... |

Thanks Cortexx.... yea, I email the guy I got it from, and he said it was there but broke off. Weird, looking into the hole where it was, it's got some plastic tab covering the metel in there, so it looks like it was made that way.
Well, easy enough fix. |
