message pops up

Whenever I open cubasis vst 4, I get the message:

[cubasis vst: cubasis.exe - unable to locate component

this application has failed to start because CWDXPX1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.]

I click ok & then everything works ok. I ran a search & see several files by that name.

have you tried reinstalling cubase?

not yet - I'm trying to avoid that since it seems to work Ok - it's just annoying & one more step I have to perform

it's probably a plugin you've had instaled and then removed
