why would you want the plugin on mono buss's? if you do setup mono buss's, each track will be assigned to either the left or right buss with no control over pan position.

i have my MASTER ....before mixing i like to put on some tape plugins for warmth etc.... the MASTER is obviously STEREO........ but i was told that rather than putting on a 1 STEREO PLUGIN OVER THE MASTER..........its better to put on 2 same plugins but as 2 MONOS....L and R.....its the same thing except its supposed to give off a more better quality.... so lets say you have the PSP Mixpack Mixsaturator.... there is a stereo one and a mono.....rahter than putting on ONE stereo....id put 2 monos.... but i dunno how...i think ive seen it done... thanks for your attention! |

It's amazing how people go through so much trouble to do nothing. Just use the stereo plugin, it keeps you from accidently putting more warmth on one side than you do the other.

However, the question is valid, since it's an issue with Cubase. There is no way of turning a stereo signal (be it a stereo track or bus) into 2 mono signals without bouncing and re-importing the single mono tracks.

Sounds like
Sounds like Mr. Music is trying to implement Charles Dye's MILAR approach of
strapping a plug like AC-1 across the master buss in multi mono instead of stereo. Bart |
