Delay Pedal for Live Vocals?
Hey, I'm looking for a solid delay for live vocals. I want something controlled by the singer, so a stomp box or something like it. I don't know if there is something made just for vocals, or a guitar effects box will do. If there are vocal delays, something with XLR I/O? (as long as it has a pedal or something to control the delay). Thanks.

You could use a multi effect unit like a MPX 550, or a roland, or Alesis Midiverb, quadraverb, etc. and control it wth a midi pedal that has a continuous controller (vol/wah pedal). The best way to run it would be as an effect using effect/aux send out of your mixer.

TC Helicon make just that...
Voice Live... but might be overkill for what you want... Great Company... I've got their voiceworks processor... very happy with it.. |

Digitech makes one too...might suck, though...dunno. Cheaper than TC.

The singer of my old band used to us a boss digital delay pedal for his vocals. Mainly because we had an extra one laying around, but it worked pretty good.
