Hi everybody!
Actually I play bass and guitar, but want to teach myself the drums now. I'm want to buy myself a drum-set (no expensive high-end, just something to start with), but as I'm a total greenhorn concerning drums and percussion my question is: are there any dangers when buying a set? does your height play a role? how try it out when you've never played before? are there certain rules I should stick to when buying a drum-set? last one: Mapex, Pearl, Yamaha, Basix or Chester (these offer beginner-sets in the shops around my place)? A lot of (maybe silly) questions, but every hint would really be a great help ! thanks, smirky |

Also, find a drummer who knows about drums, and look around for a used set. Tim |
