Behringer Dualfex Pro.

what do you guys think of it? Right now it's only 39.99 on musiciansfriend.com. Do you think it will make my vamp2 metal distortion tone better? I notice on the vamp2 that it doesn't have much of a bite. Like it sounds a little muddy no matter how much high end is added. Do you think the dualfex will help that/ I mean it's soo cheap. I almost just feel like taking a risk and buying it to see if it helps and if it doesn't i'm sure id find a use for it at somepoint. Not like i'd be out much money.

Looks kinda like Behri's version of the BBE Sonic Maximizer. For $40, it might be worth the gamble.

yeah i've been interested in using a maximizer and this seems like the same thing I was looking for except a lot less money. Some people have said they make their tone a lot better, others say they are horrible and should be avoided at all costs. But i'm willing to take the gamble. I like behringer. So far everything I bought from them I really liked. The dualfex pro has gotten good reviews. I checked the reviews on musiciansfriend for it and everyone who wrote one, said it was great.

Don't ever take a review from MF seriously, ever. You ever notice how most of them seem way too good to be true? Also there's a known condition that when you buy new gear you think it rocks the first time you plug it in, and then slowly day by day you realize its garbage.
