monitoring audio track
I had no problem before, but reinstalled sx 3 after getting my new comp, when I click on the monitor track button I cannot get sound out to listen to what im recording. I line in my guitar and cant hear myself play it although it records fine and plays back fine, is there a setting somewhere to enable sound through monitoring? or is it my soundcard? just curious ill eventually figure it out, but its just mind boggling

I would check the routing in your delta mixer and make sure nothing crazy is going on there. See if you can direct monitor there (no cubase) by routing the 1/2 inputs directly to your 1/2 outs. Also check your VST connections

Do you have the monitor button on the track enabled?

What is the track outputting to? It ought to be going to your main outs.
Also somewhere in settings there is a drop down where you choose what will happen when you hit record (one of the choices is "Tape machine style" ) I forget exactly how these work, but i seem to recall, one or the other may mute the track being recorded. Daav |
