How to completely uninstall Gigastudio? I've lost all MIDI inputs in Sonar!

I installed Gigastudio 3, and after not getting it to work, I decided to uninstall it for now. One thing it did while it was installed was remove all my MIDI inputs in Sonar4. But now, even after I uninstalled it, my MIDI-in options are still missing (for my Digi002) and the MIDI-out selections are populated with Giga ports. How do I get rid of all the Giga stuff and get back to where I was with the Digi MIDI-ins appearing, so I can select them and play/record my keyboard? I've removed TASCAM in the registry, but upon each reboot, it reappears.

My belief is that the best running computer systems are those that are completely erased, reformatted and reinstalled every 6 months. Which is why I'm also a big beliver in Ghost 9.

You can search for registry gremlins for a week or you could start a new structure right now (while you're in the midst of the Gigastudio problem) by reformatting and doing a new os/apps install. Then Ghost it. Then install Gigastudio...then Ghost that.

With that structure, any time you hit programs that won't uninstall....or the general sludge buildup that occurs with all apps over a period of time in use...you can simply reformat your drive to totally clean, then restore the Ghost in less than a half hour. Bam..completely automatic, fresh drive..no searching around to install all your apps one at a time, no surprises, no gremlins.
