headphones that won't fall off?

Hey everyone,

I really get into my performance in the vocal booth (i.e. lurching forward, bending over screaming, thrashing around, etc) and my problem is that the headphones always come loose and shake off. These are new headphones too and they fit tight. I've tried dozens of other brands but they all come loose as well..so I guess I'm the problem, but I refuse to change my habits, because I love it.

So, my question is, is there a pair of headphones out there that has is specially made for this type of thing? Maybe the company created like a strap that goes under the chin or something?? lol Or maybe there is something I can rig on the headphones I currently have?? Any ideas?

If duct tapes works for Keith Moon it will work for you.

Just curious......How do you get a decent recording what with all of that moving around, if it is actually as extreme as you make it out to be?

Sennheiser HD280s are great cans and they grip your head like a vice.

You mean you're holding the mic while you record? I assumed it was on a stand. Not the best way to do it IMO. (If I did in fact interpret you correctly.)

Wear a headband OR a neckbrace.

I second the headband idea. I had the same problem with a drummer who liked to jerk his head around a lot. An elastic sweatband over the headphones held the phones in place nicely.
