Talking Example of ART TPS as a Bass DI

Hey,

Well, my Dad gave me his old bass, so last night I sat down, smoked one and wrote and recorded this little number using the ART TPS as a DI. I'm pretty impressed with the quality (of the TPS sound, not with my bass playing).

If you need a cheap bass DI this might work for you.

The song is called "Vampiress" and its not finished yet. I layed off on the double vocals as per some of your suggestions - Drums are Beta Monkey (gotta give credit where credit is due).

Peace,

Hey, that's pretty cool.

ART preamps have one claim to fame....it's hard to find anyone who doesn't think they make a great Bass DI.

What about an Acoustic guitar DI ?? I was thinking about buying one to use on stage to give my dry acoustic signal a little bit of character... any opinions?

I used to use on as a live acoustic DI, works quite well for "de-piezoing" a guitar
