Noise on one set of monitors, not on the other!
Hi All
This is driving me crazy. I have a set of Alesis M1 Active monitors connected to a Tascam US-122 (i know the Tascam is horrible) and they work great, no noise. but today i tried to connect a set of Event 2020's and as soon as i power them up i get this gut wrenching squeel/crackle/poping noise, this noise changes when i do things on my computer. I also tried a set of KRK Roket 5's.... same noise. Can anyone tell me why. Is it a cableing issue, is it a power issue, is it a USB thing, is it phaseing, is it the soundcard? I have a feeling that the solution is simple, i just dont know what it is. Thanks in advance. Curtis |

How did you connect them?

Connection
I connected them to the line out on the tascam with shielded and grounded RCA cables, and RCA to 1/4 jack connectors.
