how do those get made?

bassicly its just any sound tuned way low, and drawn out, i used to have one that was a snare hit, lowered a ton.....

What is a bass drop? I googled it and found out how to make one, but it didn't really help.

I was assuming he meant a low bass tone that has an initial attack, followed by a slowly decaying amplitude and pitch.

Am I wrong?

Anyway, Stomper works great for that.

I've always just referred to it as a bass drum synth. Never knew it had a name of its own. Assuming that's what it is.
