save session error

hi all, this is probably the wrong spot, but anyways
me and my bddy are recording a CD, now all of the sudden we get an error message that says "To continue working where you left off, just restart cool edit pro"

now we cant figure out why its doing this, and it kinda sucks, it will let us save each file individually as an MP3 but, thats tedious, when we could just save the session, any help would be GREAT as this is a very serious set back
