I've got some extra foam, can I use it?

I have a twin size memory foam pad that is not in any use. What could I use this for in my home studio. My studio is a small square bedroom that is sometimes used for tracking drums and guitars, but also my mixing is done there. As of now I have no treatment what so ever except for a rug on the wood floor. There is alot of reflection in the room which is not so great for mixing. Can this foam help at all?

What's the fire rating on that foam? Is that like the Temperpedic bed foam?

Sounds like one big fire hazard.

Am I wrong?

This certainly wouldn't be my first choice for room treatment, but I'm wondering about the fire thing myself. Don't y'all suppose something that's used in a bed would have to be fire resistant? Seems like the manufacturer would have a serious liability issue if it wasn't.

Cut off a corner, take it outside and light it on fire... See what happens, let us know the results...

Geez, those beds are EXPENSIVE!
I priced a queen size for myself and my wife, the offbrands can cost almost 1K. I don't even want to know what the real ones cost. So put an ad in the newspaper and raise $$$ for some gear! Someone will buy it, for a lot more money than some foam would cost brand new.
