Dbx Driverack PA vs. Dbx 234XL
I don't really need all the stuff on the driverack, but quality-wise, how does the digital crossover compare to the analogue crossover.
This is to drive QSC amps - 3402 PLX(subs), 2402 PLX(mids) and 2402 PLX(highs), in stereo 3 way mode. |

To tell you the truth, I like the analog one better as far as sound quality goes. The Driverack PA isn't all that bad though if you bypass everything except the basic crossover functions. I would look for an analog ashly one though instead.

I also prefer the Ashly, which is what we're using now. We're running 3 way mono thru an XR1001.
But, the XR2001 are about $350 around here. Whereas the dbx is only $179. I just don't like having to pan everything on my Venice 320. I know it shouldn't make any difference, but I don;t wanna wear a path ![]() |

Out of curiosity.... why do you have to pan everything on the venice? Why not just use the post fade mono output?
