TDM - Time Division Multiplexing - seems to be the buzz word for systems that have dedicated DSP processor/s to handle plug-in load. Pro tools HD vs. Pro Tools LE.

Well, I meant music recording related acronyms...

Although, last night I accidently maxed out the fader knob on the bass track and got horrid distortion through my monitors causing me to yell OMG WTF !!!
