Eminence Legends 875 replacement speaker

In my Champ amp! I just got my hands on my brothers old Fender Champ, the one that I got for my birthday back in 1973. Very first guitar amp I ever got! The serial number on the transformer indicates it was made in February 1965!

I replaced the original blue label Fender Special Design speaker with an Eminence Legends 875, the speaker that Eminence recommends for the Champ. (I replaced all the tubes a few months ago)

It's a new amp! I phoned my brother a half hour after he dropped it off and I said, "Your amp is ready! You are gonna get some real JUSTICE outa this amp now BOY!"

I cant believe how much better it sounds! It's like I'm hearing for the first time everything this little amp is supposed to be spitting out! Now if that Weber Silver Bell would just get here a little faster.......

Anyway, any Champ owners should feel comfortable with this recommended speaker replacement, I can vouch for it! - SC

I tossed up with using an pair of Eminence Legends or Eminence Patriots for my Dual Showman, I went for the Patriots, either way I think I would have been a winner. I'm a real Eminence fan.
