bedroom studio

im planning on moving my studio (drums, mics, amps, computer/interface) up into a vacant bedroom in my house. my question is: can this be physically damaging to a second floor bedroom not built for recording or playing music in?
thanks in advance

Not unless you exceed the floor's live load rating, which is unlikely with the usual home studio stuff. If you start to build up the floor & walls with heavy soundproofing, install a drum riser, bring in lots of PA gear, you probably need to consult an engineer or architect.

If you put in a hot tub, all bets are off
