my 1st post

i'm a drummer, and want to start recording my band. I don't have money for a firewire or something with more inputs. i am thinking on getting mics and a mixer and just plugging the mixer into this thinking it'll sound better than juist plugging the mixer into the mic input with an adapter. then i'll record the guitars @ the same time because there are two preamps. then do vocals last.

what do you think?
