SAD NEWS: MRS. King
Coretta Scott King Dies at 78
Coretta Scott King, the beloved and outspoken wife of civil rights pioneer Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., passed away at her home in Atlanta about 1 a.m. Tuesday. She was 78. Mrs. King suffered a stroke and heart attack last August. She had been working toward a recovery at home in Atlanta since her release from the hospital in September. Earlier this month, King made a celebrated public appearance at the Salute to Greatness dinner -- a major fundraiser for The King Center -- in Atlanta. Mrs. King founded the King Center in 1968, shortly after the assassination of her husband in Alabama. http://www.11alive.com/news/news_art...?storyid=75412

I don't believe it's sad news. It would only be sad if she were to have died in vain. Even though the ultimate goal of Dr. King's and Coretta's life has not yet been accomplished, great changes have been made. The King's were the epitome of standing up for what you believe in, when it seems like you're faced with impossible odds. I respect and honor Mrs. King for continuing the vision.

Yep. Without the King family and others, the world would be a different place. They've added so much to the world...

She Was Mother To A Motherfuckin Nation.....dont Ever Forget It. Behind Every Good Man Is A Great Woman And Thats Real. Realize That She Re-invested In That Thay Was Divested To Help Make It All Possible. She Nurtured His Shine And Absorbed His Anger That He Might Be The Man He Was. Think About The Type Of Person She Was To Be Able To Do That. Rest In Peace Ma
