Tempo Tap accompanying DD?

I was wondering if somebody could give me some information about a Tempo Tapping extension that plugs into a DD-3 (i think, maybe a DD-5 or 6, or all of them). It is a small black square box that plugs into either, one of the inputs or outputs on the delay pedal. I have seen these a few places, I know Howie Day uses one. I would like one because, although I have a DD-6 where you can tap the tempo, it just takes too long to change tempos in between licks. I want to be able to change tempo with the tap of my foot twice. Does anybody know anything about this...(is it made by Boss, do they still make them, where can i find one?) Thanks.

I have (i think) a dd5. The tempo tap is the best accesory I've gotten for my set up in some time. You don't need a boss pedal - any momentary, non latching, normally open pedal works fine. Essentially the same thing as a keyboard sustain pedal. I found one at my local guitar store for cheap, and it works great.
