Could anyone point me to where I can buy drum loops? I am building a studio in my home so I can record my piano/guitar and vocals but I am horrible at drumming, I would like to buy a set of loops that I can splice together to give my songs some rhythem. Does such a thing exsist? How much does it cost? what software do I need? Thanks.

There are a number of software options for drum loops. One pretty good one is Fruity Loops http://www.fruityloops.com

I havent really tried much of it, but Sonic Foundry Acid has a bunch of loops based on different styles of music. You might wanna give it a look. http://www.sonicfoundry.com

My favorite software is Goldwave, you can get it at

as for getting the loops, I don't know about that, I usually play my own or sample them off a cd. for really simple loops hammerhead is a good drum machine program, but it is pretty limited
