JV1080 Problem, grrrrr!
Hey there,
I have just got a JV-1080 and am trying to programme it to logic 5.5 for the pc, I have the environment setup and all that, but what I'm struggling with is recording multiple tracks. For example: Track 1, i play a string. Track 2, i play a bell then track 1 becomes a bell as well. can someone please help. It seems to me the problem lies in the MIDI section, but as i have only just got it, the software is a blur. I am using: JV-1080 MIDISport 8x8 TMK88 MIDI controller |

You go into performance mode by clicking the PERFORM button. You can then set up any of those preset configurations however you want.
For example, you can put a string sound on track 1. The most important thing here is to make sure you also go into midi and set track 1's midi to midi channel 1. Then go to part 2 and put a bell sound on it. Then make sure track 2's midi is set to channel 2. And so on and so on... this is how you keep the sounds seperate. It's all in the midi channel assignments. Good luck. ![]() |
