Amp Modeling
Does anyone use a unit for electric guitar and bass?
If so, what is the best? I don't want to use a plugin, just an outboard unit. thanks |

POD and V-Amp just to name a few...They both have separate guitar and Bass versions, and they both have rackmount versions - you 'could' use one for both, but it'd probably make more sense to use one of each.

I use the guitar POD to record guitar, sometimes bass, and occasionally I'll run a vocal through it. I've gotten some pretty cool sounds running a keyboard through it as well.
There are no rules. |

I use a Johnson JStation. It has guitar AND bass models on it. Pretty cool but, I don't think they sell it new anymore.
