Question Headphone amps

Hello all,
I've been looking for a HP amp for my little project studio that would accept 2 stereo sources at the same time,...the thing is,I'm using samson C-control monitor matrix as a talkback and been using Alto's 4ch amp so far,but I hate to split the(talkback) signal to the aux-ins in the front(usually they are used to input performers own instrument for directmonitoring)..is there HPAmp that would let me connect connect main cue line from my firepod to main inputs and at the same time line from the talkback..
I think that ART HeadAmp V would allow me to do it,but I'm not sure..Anyone own one of those?Would be great if someone could set me in the right direction...
I could do it in mono, but prefer in stereo(cue that is)...
Thanks in advance...

I don't have one, but 2 main stereo ins+one stereo in for each of the four amps should be more then enough for almost anyone: http://www.carvin.com/products/singl...=H400&CID=PROC

And from the specs looks like it could take your ears off with the power it puts out.

Unless someone has something really negative to say about it, its on my list for purchase this spring.

Don't laugh- Rolls RA62HA. I've had one for 4 years, and it has done everything I have asked of it.. Stereo/mono switchable in on the front, left and right main and aux ins on the back, six channels. It has never screwed me up in any way. Inserts for all six channels. I guess the updated model is now called RA62b. It's $150. What's not to love? And yes, I am aware that it is almost the only decent thing Rolls builds.-Richie

I have one of the Carvins, and it works fine. It also allows the use of balanced cables. The Carvin is across the room from the mixer, and I ran two 30' mic cables overhead to the headphone amp, with no hum or noise.

I also use a DOD headphone amp that I bought almost 6 years ago, which uses unbalanced inputs. This one is about 10' away from the mixer, and so doesn't have the same difficulty with long cable runs.

Headphone amps are available cheaply enough that you might look at getting two, like I did. This also gives you the potential for different mixes and levels.

I love that Carvin headphone amp. I'm feeling saucy...I think I'll buy it.

Gotta sell the one I have first, though.

Rane H4? I have that amp, man it rocks. I never have had to turn it up past about 4. Even with 3 headphones plugged in.
