Can't get my tascam us-122 to work

I did everything in the manual and still can't hear any sound or record anything i was trying with adobe audition after i try with the free software (cubase le ) that came with it but don`t know what to do i was looking for some other good software to see if it work i need help what can ia do?

That is a very long sentence.

There are a lot of things that could be going on here and, without more information, it will be difficult to answer your query. Most likely, you do not have audition properly configured, with the US-122 selected as both the input and output device. Do you have the latest drivers installed from the Tascam website? Do you have the US-122 ASIO drivers selected in audition? Is your audio track armed and accepting information from the correct input?
