Hey all,
I was recently given a 424mk11 machine, and while it worked for a bit, the power adapter/jack was very fiesty and intermittantly cutting out, and now it's a lost cause (won't power up). Since the sealed adapter is not serviceable, I can't be sure if it's the cable or the jack. Just wanted some feedback before I sprung for a new adapter (I'm a trifle frugal, if you will). I'm assuming this is a widespread issue, as I recall a buddy having the same problem with an older 424. Opinions? |
