I just got this Recorder. can I use The DB-25 SCSI to send (data/ tracks) from the 1880 to my PC. to edit and then send it back to the 1880

SCSI connector on the VS-1880
Answer: The SCSI connector on the VS-1880 is only used to connect a Roland CD Recorder, such as the VS-CDRII or the VS-CDR3. It is not possible to connect the VS directly to a computer via the SCSI connector. The CD burner is required if you want to back-up your recordings, or if you want to burn audio mixes of your songs to CDR directly from the VS-1880.
