hey! im looking to buy a keyboard to do 60's 70's and 80's cover work, not sure which keyboards are good. thinking probably a korg or roland. looking for something fairly decent, price tag around the $1500 mark but able to go higher. another factor is it has to be portable as i have had an unfortunate incident that envolved a staircase and a keyboard that was just too friggin heavy. any help is appreciated!

I'm going to sell a DX7. Lots of free patches on the internet. And a Juno 60, and a DX21. Also a JX8P and a Poly 61M.

Maddy,
You may also want to check out any of the Roland boards like the XP30 (61 keys, no sequencer GREAT sounds!!), or the XP80,XP60. With any of those Roland boards you can add the "Keyboards of the 60's and 70's expansion card". This should do the trick for you. Rev E |
