Logic Express

I'm looking into music software to use with a Mac and thinking about Performer or Logic. Can anyone tell me the major differences between Logic Pro and Logic Express(Pro is a bit pricey at the moment)? Any advice on what choice I ought to make?

I've never used either version of Logic, but I'll definitely sing the praises of Digital Performer.

Hope that helps. Oh, and if you own just about any audio or MIDI software at all, look into DP's competitive upgrade. You'd be shocked at how many things are listed as options. I think I upgraded from Master Tracks Pro....
