headphones

currently when i record vocals i use my 15 dollar sony behind the head heaphones...i love these headphones for recreational listening because i just find behind the back to be the most comfortable and easy to wear under my long hair....this is fine for recreational listening, but when i record vocals the sound from these things bleeds into the microphone.... i was wondering if there were any cheap/decent headphones that i can look into for recording that wont bleed.

how about the sony MDR-V150 Studio Monitor Series Headphones for 20$?

if not, any ideas? i dont want 200 $ headphones, just something that will be decent to record with and not bleed into my mics.

If your current headphones are open back design then they will bleed into the mics alot more than a closed back set. Here are some cheapies that Harvey Gerst (a member of this board) sells:

I did a quik search on those and they LOOK closed back.

If you can spend $100, get te MDR 7506's
Loud as hell and good isolation and everybody has been using them for years.*

*(thats me NOT saying "industry standard"
