Quantizing Audio
Greetings,
My keyboard skills are not the best. When I attempt to record audio performances into Pro Tools 7 often times these performances are slower than the beat which I am playing. When I attempt to play the keyboard faster it always sounds too fast. How should I remedy this problem? I am making club type beats around 90bpm and recording the lead synth is where my problems lies. Do I need to quantize? If so how and where? From the keyboard or from Pro Tools? Thanks for the assistance. |

You dont really quantitize audio, you quantitize midi so look into that (plus you can fix your mistakes)

almost sounds like you are having a serious problem with latency. check the buffer settings.
