You can hear the drummer dribbling from both sides of his mouth at once. So at least the drum riser is level <g>


Seriously, tape some kitchen sponge to the snare - will reduce the persistence of the shell resonance.

Otherwise, good enough. Some compression and it will be SLAMMING.

Perhaps you could mic it closer and increase the treble response around 4-8kHz?

The snare sounds about 4 feet away. Could be closer and crisper.

yor snare need more crack tighten the top skin like a mother fucker and it should sound sick

I think it sounds great...ya maybe more "snap" for the snare (tunning).

maybe im the only one, but i personally cant stand bass drums that sound like that. Some punch is good, but its called a bass drum for a reason.
