whats the best route to go?

i just got a peaveyxr600f mixer ahh sounds alright live. but i want to record our live stuff so drummer can come up with good drums ,we play in a 14' by 12' room. got the manual from peavey and it doesnt go into any detail about recording from the mixer. what would be the easiest and cheapest way to record from the mixer or should i just get a seperate tape recorder and sit it on my desk. or can i put the mixer into my computer somehow and record?
