hey dobro! sorry I didn't answer your query of my microphone, here you are. This mic is a realistic sounding microphone, whatever you hear in your room is what your gonna get through this mic. thats it! although the proximity effect is high. and this mic, unlike other/older ribbons can take high SPL. you can stick it right in the grill of a guitar cabinet without it blowing the mic, but generally I dont do that. If you have any other questions about the mic, I would be happy to answer them!
