Yamaha DGX 203

I am new to this BBS but it looks retty good. I just bought a Yamaha Synthesizer. Does any one no anything about the DGX 203 76 key keyboard? Does it have a quantize feature and what do you think about it? The flute and the sax are awsome on it.

If you're looking for a keyboard with a sequencer get a Synth/Work Station like Motif, Triton, or Roland.

I am new at midi recording. When I was in college I use to play in Jazz Bands, Rock Bands and Gospel Groups. Have not been performing in a while. I once played with Louie Belson and performed in the Northridge Jazz Festival.

This Yamaha does have a Sequencer in it. I E-mailed Yamaha and they said there was no Quantize or song editing features in it. I do want to be able to quantize, change the frequency, truncate, loop and change the pitch. I have some experience with Cakewalk on my computer and I guess I will access those features that way.

You must have a great set up with all the keyboards you own. Pretty impressive.
