Sync Pro Tools LE 6.9 OS x w/ ACID 5.0 XP
If anyone could help me make this happen it would make my life so much better!!!!
I am continuing my baptisim into digital recording. The musicians I depended on to handle MIDI chores moved away - I know nothing about using it. For all I know midi not even be what I need to use - so forgive me if this is a really dumb question but: Is there a dependable way to sync (by midi or otherwise): Protools LE 6.9 on MAC OS X powerbook G4 1.5 Ghz 2 Gigs RAM with ACID 5.0 on PC XP service pack 2 1.73 GHz Centrino Pentium M with 1 Gig RAM I have been bouncing the ACID tracks and moving them over. I don't have a problem manually lining up those tracks but it takes me about 200% longer to do a mix without having the ACID track levels at my finger tips. The tracks are 7 to 9 minutes long so hitting the buttons at the same time gets impractical. I will probably still end up rendering ACID out and moving it over, but having it sync'd live will help me do it without guessing. I have already spent hours fumbling with the midi settings in Pro Tools and trying to sync a groove box without luck - yeah pretty pathetic eh! Wish I would have paid more attention when all those keyboard players were around.Sync Pro Tools LE 6.9 OS x w/ ACID 5.0 XP Last edited by rksinger; 01-03-2006 at 19:25..
