Review on the Soundcraft ES mixer
So i returned the Alto L-16 and got this one instead.
http://www.soundcraft.com/product_sh...?product_id=26 It has 10 balanced stereo inputs and 4 mono inputs with mic preamps . It has no effects , no fancy routing but it has a VERY low noise level. Its great if like me you like playing mainly synths and stereo inputs are imnportant to you. Its pretty well built but i do have a few critisizms. The sliders are very light to the touch , they have no resistance which i find a little disconcerting. And there is NO POWER BUTTON (why ? what would it have taken to install one? ). Only way to power it off is to lift up the mixer and pull out the AC cord other than that it is a massive improvement on the alto i had briefly. |
