I recently started recording my guitar onto my computer. I purchased an M-Audio Fast Track USB sound card because I'm using a laptop and have no line in, and also a Behringer Eurorack mixing board. My friend gave me a copy of Sony Acid Pro 5 for mixing.
Since I'm so new to all this, I am having some troubles with the recording. My biggest problem is that I can't seem to find a way to get stereo tracks on my computer, everything I record with the Fast Track come out in a single channel. Does anyone know how I can record in stereo? Any help is appreciated. |

Your guitar recordings will sound much better with 2 separate tracks panned L+R than they will with one stereo track.

I believe the Fast Track is a single-input recording device. You can either use the 1/4" input, or the XLR input, both of which are mono inputs. You might be able to use both simultaneously, but I'm not sure.
